Unveiling Kings Cross
This interactive work is part documentary, part history about London's King's Cross area. The distinctive touch screen interface discards the conventional mouse and encourages the user to peel away layers to unveil different aspects of the area - past, present and mythology. First developed as a project for the MA course in Design for Interactive Media at Middlesex University in September 1996, it was latterly used as a training material for the regions developers: The King's Cross Partnership. This work was selected by Macromedia for display at their prestigious UCON '97 event in San Francisco.
